Encasa, Spanish Food in Sydney

Encasa on Urbanspoon

423 Pitt Street, Sydney.

Looking for a relaxed and friendly Spanish restaurant in central Sydney? Then look no further than Encasa. Specialising in Spanish cuisine including tapas, pizza and pasta dishes. Its easy to get to, near Central Station and World Square.

It's the perfect place to get together with friends or celebrate an occasion. Also its BYO! (bring your own wine - a very rare find in Sydney city restaurants).

Pinchos de Pollo con Mojo - Chicken skewers with red capsicum, olive oil, cumin, vinegar $12

Pinchos Morunos - Prime lamb fillet skewers marinated in Moroccan spices $14

ChampiƱones al Ajillo - Sizzling garlic mushrooms $9.50

Patatas Bravas - Fried potato w/ garlic mayonnaise and spicy tomato salsa $9.50

Pros: All the tapas are simply scrumptous. Plenty of food to share. The sizzling garlic mushrooms and fried potato are their popular tapas and complement the rest of the meat tapas. And its BYO!

Cons: It gets crowded particularly towards the weekend, so suggest making a booking. Oh there's minimal air-con if any (ceiling fans anyone?) so it can get a bit warm on a hot day particularly if you are sitting towards the back of the restaurant.

Keranica's Tip: The Entertainment book offers 25% off the bill. Yay! More tapas anyone?
